People Don’t Quit a Relationship Only Because They Are Unhappy
This is one of the most precious tips I have ever heard! A friend of mine was in a very unhappy relationship with a guy and she was afraid he might dump her. Then a mutual friend told us that this is unlikely to happen because usually men don’t quit only simply because they are unhappy.
This sounded very strange but it turned out to be right, not only in her case. Men can stay in an unhappy relationship because they are afraid to be alone and left without sex. What is more, men can stay in an unhappy relationship for long time because they haven’t found another woman and they don’t have the guts to stay without a chick. If they find another woman (or more precisely – if she finds them), then they will quit the relationship, even if it has been a happy one.
On the other hand, this applies to many women, too. The reasons are different, of course, but more or less they also boil down to the benefits they are getting from the relationship.
